Patch Notes 2026.11.1
Hello mayors,
update 2026.11.1 brings many of your wishes and reports into the game. As these are our first patch notes, they list everything that has changed since the launch on October 30.
New features
- Patch notes in the game: After an update you see once what is new when you open your city.
- Thermal Power Plant boost: Overdrive gives 30 % more output for 6 hours and costs $25,000 per plant. One button starts it for all Thermal Power Plants at once. The Ruby boost doubles the output for 7 days and costs 1 ruby.
- More Thermal Power Plants: You can build up to 10 in your first area and 2 more with every further unlocked area.
- Emergency services use roads: Fire brigade, police and hospital only drive on roads that are connected to their station. A station needs a road connection, and a building has to be close enough to such a road.
- Fire brigade: With its blue lights it gets through traffic jams faster. At the scene it stops at the closest spot and lays the hose to the fire. The fire protection map shows the real response time and where two stations overlap.
- Service performance: The percentage at police, fire brigade and hospital shows how well the service worked during the last 24 game hours.
- Feedback in the logo menu: Send your feedback straight to the team from the logo menu. As soon as the team has replied, a yellow dot lights up on the logo.
- Wiki in the app: The wiki opens right on top of the game.
- BITMEUP Missions in the app: The missions are now available in the app as well.
- PC download: Windows now has an installer and the Mac a DMG file. If the download is interrupted, the finished files are kept.
Changes
- Power house by house: When there is not enough power, a whole area no longer goes dark. Buildings are supplied one by one, the closest first. More of your city stays on the grid.
- Areas count together: Areas of the same type that touch each other count as one area. Large buildings can grow across the border, and "Area too narrow" appears less often. A special building no longer splits an area.
- School: The grade now reaches its target in about 3 days. The teacher salary has the biggest effect, and classes have more seats.
- Traffic: Commuters spread over several routes of almost the same length. Cars drive past a bus at a stop instead of queuing behind it. Before and after a roundabout cars use all lanes, switch to the free lane next to them in a jam and leave the inner ring without stopping.
- Finances: The overview is now the first tab. A click on your balance opens it, and an open offer for a Development Loan is shown at the top.
- Rare finds: One click collects all finds of a mine, and you see them fly into the bar. A transmission also needs only one click now.
- Chat: A second click on the chat button hides the chat. The chat now blocks unwanted words in all languages. In the app every message shows its time.
- Languages: Even more texts in the game are now translated into all languages.
- Cinema and casino: The app now has all extras of the browser version.
- Login in the app: The app remembers your login.
Bug fixes
- Your city no longer loses residents, neither offline nor after loading nor when you place, move or remove a special building. The taxes for the offline time are correct.
- Leftover pieces of intersections can be removed with one click again.
- Highway intersections can be clicked everywhere.
- Tutorial step 15: The road to the industry avoids special buildings and also counts along the previous row.
- In the tutorial, clearing the space for the iron ore mine is free, and building it also clears the roads on that space.
- In the VIP shop "build for free" is only shown for buildings that really cost nothing.
- The construction clock of the District Tower is back at the bottom of the tower.
- The power plant window shows the correct remaining time for the Red fission again.
- The police calls Shoplifting and Domestic incident now have the right name in all languages.
- In the app the active bonuses are visible again.
- In the app the crystals at the foot of a mesa disappear when you demolish it.
Have fun in your city!
Best regards
your District Null Team
