Feedback System at Damoria

October 11, 2026Dschi

Hello Damorians!

Today, we have another huge batch of updates and changes for you – and most importantly, we have implemented a lot of your feedback!

For the past few weeks, all of our games have featured the new feedback button. In Damoria, you can find it as the feedback box in the menu, in every design and also in the mobile view.

You have already been using it actively to send us praise, criticism and feedback about events and features – as well as to point out bugs. We have received almost 40 submissions from The Crusades, Venturia and Bloodlust, written in eight different languages.

A quick reminder: Bugs should still be reported through a support ticket.

We were especially pleased to receive feedback from players we had rarely or never heard from before, even though some of them have been playing Damoria actively for many years. Thank you!

If one of your suggestions is implemented, you will also receive a reward. And if you report a bug that we subsequently fix, you will not go away empty-handed either.

At this point, we would also like to ask for a little patience.

We really do read your feedback. Some suggestions can be evaluated quickly, while others first need to be discussed within the team or examined more closely from a technical perspective. Especially when feedback could result in changes to the game, it often ends up directly with me – Dschi.

Since I work on several games at the same time and am involved in different features and areas of development, a response can sometimes take a little longer.

So if you do not receive an answer immediately, that does not mean your feedback has been overlooked.

Your Feedback – Implemented

⚔️ Guard

Ransom Instead of Death (starting with the next Guard Season)

Starting with the next season, knights on death missions will usually be captured instead of killed.

For 24 hours, you will be able to ransom them together with their equipment. The ransom depends on the knight's level.

If you do not pay, you lose the knight.

Nothing changes during the current season.

  • Cancel missions: With the Guard Master, you can now cancel an active mission. The knight receives nothing, the mission disappears, and no new mission takes its place. Death missions cannot be cancelled.
  • Remember tournament lineup: When registering for a tournament, the knight order from your previous tournament is now used automatically. With “Save as default”, the game permanently remembers your lineup for qualification and the final rounds. This also applies when the Guard Master registers you.
  • Browse to the next knight: Two arrows next to the knight's name take you directly to the previous or next knight. The section you currently have open, such as Missions or Equipment, remains open when switching.
  • Guard navigation bar: The Knight, Tournament, Coins and Glory pages now have a navigation bar at the top with My Guard, Inventory, Marketplace and Tournament.
  • Coin display updates immediately: After completing a mission or placing a bid on the marketplace, your coin balance is updated immediately without requiring a page reload.
  • Choose the number of Wizard Free Spells: In the Glory Shop, you can now purchase up to 999 Free Spells at once. The price updates as you type. For purchases costing 1,000 Glory or more, the game asks for confirmation before completing the purchase.
  • Discard broken equipment: Broken angel-touched items previously occupied an inventory slot permanently. You can now discard them using a new button, with a confirmation prompt beforehand.
  • Reroll button moved: The button is now located below the mission list so it is less likely to be clicked accidentally.
  • Death missions reviewed: One of you suspected that more knights were dying during death missions than the displayed chance suggested. We checked the calculation: The displayed chance and the actual evaluation use the same calculation. To make this verifiable with real data in the future, the outcome of every death mission is now recorded.

🐉 Wild Animals and Dragons

New: Dragon's Gaze and Dragon's Roar

There are two new purchases using Dragon Scales on the Dragon Curse page:

  • Dragon's Gaze (1,000 Dragon Scales): For three days, wild animals will not attack any of your castles.
  • Dragon's Roar (1,500 Dragon Scales): For three days, wild animals will not attack any castle on the continent of your selected castle – including the castles of your neighbours.

Additionally:

  • Account-wide limit: Wild animal camps can now attack an account a maximum of 8 times within 24 hours, regardless of how many castles the account owns. Previously, the limit applied per castle, which meant that large empires could be attacked very frequently.
  • Purple attack bar: If only wild animals are approaching your castles, the attack bar at the top is now purple. As soon as a real player attacks you, it appears orange as usual.

💎 Amber, Marketplace and Athanor

  • Exchange Amber: On the Amber page, you can now exchange one type of Amber for another in any castle. This requires the Merchant Master. He keeps part of the Amber as payment: With the Merchant Master, 2 Amber become 1; with Merchant Master+, 5 Amber become 4.
  • Marketplace without the previous limit: Marketplace offers were previously capped at 4,294,967,295 units. You can now offer as much as your merchants are able to carry.
  • Supply the Athanor from the Hideout: The Athanor page now has a new option, “Use resources from Hideout”. When enabled, the Athanor first uses resources from your storage and then takes the remaining amount from the Hideout. You no longer need to transfer them through the Merchant. The option is disabled by default.

🏰 Castles and Overviews

  • Activate expansions directly from the building list: If you want to upgrade the Storage, Tournament Grounds, Troop Grounds or Treasury of a special castle beyond its maximum level and have the required expansion in storage, a new “Activate Expansion” button appears. It opens the Castle tab and highlights the appropriate expansion.
  • See free storage at a glance: When demolishing a castle and choosing a destination, you now see a list of your castles together with the available storage space for each resource. Castles with the most space are shown first. If a resource can no longer fit into a target castle, it is highlighted in red. In the resource overview and castle overview, a thin bar below each value also shows how full the storage is and how much space remains.
  • Refill button permanently at the top: The button for refilling recruitment is now always displayed above the troop cards in the Barracks, Stable, Workshop and Recruitment Overview. You no longer need to search for it.

📨 Mail, Chat and Controls

  • Herald Calls as a single row: Previously, a Herald Call appeared once for every alliance member in your sent messages – meaning 112 rows for an alliance with 112 members. It now appears as a single row, and an information button shows who has already read it.
  • Chat on phones and tablets: On touch devices, the chat is now closed by default. The new “Chat” button opens it as a large window with an X to close it. Nothing changes on PCs using a mouse.
  • Permanently disable mobile view: Under Settings > Personal, there is now a new “Disable Mobile View” option. The setting applies to the respective device and remains active after your next login.
  • Consent window: The privacy window previously appeared after every login. It now only appears until a decision has been stored on your device.

🐞 Bugs Reported by You

  • Wild animal return: The report used the title of a Bandit Camp report and the map link was empty. There is now a dedicated report with the correct link. Older reports keep their previous title.
  • Map: The information window for castles near the top edge of the map was cut off.
  • Espionage report: Hovering over the Residential House icon incorrectly displayed “Marketplace”.
  • Catapult construction: The inventory count for Rams and Catapults always displayed 0.
  • Guard Marketplace: When listing angel-touched items, it was no longer possible to close the offer window. It now has an X in the top-right corner.
  • Typo: A spelling mistake in the German “Refer a Friend” text has been corrected.

Additionally

  • Extend Shop bonuses: Bonuses from the Glory and Coin Shops are available for 7, 14 or 30 days, while bonuses from the Amber Shop are available for 3, 15 or 30 days. When extending a bonus, you only pay for the missing duration, calculated to the exact hour. New castle bonuses are available for troop production, building queue and Amber yield.
  • Herald Calls in their own tab: Alliance circular messages are now separated from player mail and have their own tab. Both tabs display their unread message count.
  • Marketplace checks carrying capacity: An offer can now only be listed if your available merchants are actually able to carry the amount.
  • Welcome window: After logging in, a window shows active events, the Top 8 from the previous day's Guard Tournament, as well as news about your account and alliance. It appears no more than once per day.
  • Forum news: The latest announcements from the forum are now displayed directly in the Castle view.
  • Guard ranking: Clicking on a knight now shows their equipment together with the player's name and alliance.
  • Athanor: An instant completion using Gold is now displayed in the Gold history.

📖 The Official Damoria Wiki

We have created an official wiki for Damoria.

It includes:

  • beginner basics,
  • all buildings and units including values and level tables,
  • research,
  • military and combat,
  • the world including the map, continents, special castles, bandits and wild animals,
  • the economy including the marketplace, merchants and Amber,
  • the Guard,
  • alliances,
  • Premium,
  • events,
  • and your account.

The wiki can be accessed directly from the game using the “?” in the top-right corner of every game page. This takes you directly to the relevant wiki page.

You can also access it through the “Damoria Wiki” menu button, and the wiki can be viewed without logging in.

It is already available in almost all supported languages. Arabic, Persian, Hebrew and Urdu will follow.

For the wiki, we worked together with our AI tools to collect and organize the available information about Damoria.

Even within the team, it was not always obvious which information should already be considered common knowledge and which details had previously been kept less visible.

We have reviewed the wiki carefully. However, if you notice any mistakes or information that is no longer accurate due to recent changes, please send us a support ticket.

🛡️ Guard Master Can Train

The Guard Master can now also handle training for you.

In the Training tab, you can select which skill should be trained and up to which level.

A knight can only do one of the two at a time: missions or training.

The game asks for confirmation before switching.

🏗️ Builder Can Demolish

A request from the forum: The Builder can now not only construct buildings but also demolish them.

Every order has a direction. Setting the target to 0 completely demolishes the building and frees the building slot.

This is part of the Builder's basic functionality.

🗺️ Completely Reworked Starting Location Selection

The page where new players choose the location of their first castle has been completely rebuilt.

Available fields are outlined in gold on the map and can be selected directly. Before founding your castle, you can see the bonuses of the selected field.

If you prefer, the game can suggest a starting location for you.

If founding the castle fails, the reason is now displayed clearly.

The same page is also used to select your main castle during a world transfer.

🍎 Sign in with Apple and New Landing Page

In addition to Google, Facebook and Steam, you can now also sign in with Apple.

Damoria also has a new landing page for everyone who is not currently logged in.

Bug Fixes

  • Scout attacks: Since the Athanor update, every attack consisting only of Scouts failed. Fixed.
  • Paladins: Paladins can once again be trained in Amber Castles.
  • Arrival time: Adjusting the arrival time on the confirmation pages for attacks, support and relocation works again.
  • Athanor ranking: Completed stages of the Great Work were no longer included in Alchemy and Castle Points. The points have been restored, which has also changed the Alchemist ranking accordingly.
  • Frost Breath: The dragon spell could never be activated because the button sent the wrong command. It now works.
  • Guard in French: Translations containing apostrophes caused parts of the Guard pages to stop working.
  • Map: Ownerless Gold Castles once again display the red dot. Previously, they looked like your own castles.
  • Recruitment: The “remaining” and “ordered” values are now correct again after adding more troops.
  • New players: “Suggest a starting location” did nothing, and for a time new players were unable to create an account or found their first castle.
  • Mobile view: The desktop button opened the game twice inside itself.
  • BITMEUP Missions: Daily missions completed across midnight are now reliably credited.
  • Bandit Hunt: The event bonus previously only applied to newly created Bandit Camps. It now also applies to existing ones.
  • Bloodlust: Throne protection now also applies to grey castles.
  • Statistics: Very large loot amounts are no longer cut off.
